I have my own band, The Allan Harris Band. Found my pianist, Pascal LeBoeuf in the local post office, he was mailing off a lot of sheet music and I leaned over and told him that I was looking for a new pianist. He came by and played a little on my new piano and I dug him immediately. My drummer, Jake Goldbas, came as a referral from Pascal and I didn't even need to hear him play after I met him. His enthusiasm and talent are visible even without drums. My bassist, Leon Boykins...a Pittsburgh native is a dynamic player with a funky and soulful groove. Then to round out the band we have the veteran saxophonist form Miami, Jesse Jones Jr.

Jeff Beck because he influenced me so much early on. Monty Alexander because he inspires me with his amazing virtuosity. I also would love to jam with Jimmy Paige. And believe it or now, I'd love to jam sing with Dolly Parton, and Jerry Douglas. The other two people I'd like to play with more is Mark O'Connor and Vince Gill.
