I began singing when I was 5. Picked up guitar to aid in songwriting in 2004
What was the first concert you ever went to?
1994, Qualcomm Stadium. Elton John and Billy Joel. Amazing show by artists my mom adored. All the songs I knew and could sing along with. An amazing night.
What gear do you use?
I use a standard Taylor Acoustic. My fav guitar in the world. I also have a baby one of the same model.
Who was your biggest musical influence growing up?
I always loved singing along to Bonni Raitt and Bette Midler with my mom and it lured me into songs and ballads that were about heartbreak and emotion. Then probably Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, Chicago, The Moody Blues and Little River Band among many.
Are you in a band? Have you been in bands?
I would like to form a group for recording and gigging. I've playing many open mics in my 8 years in Los Angeles and performed in musicals over the last 15 years as well as singing publicly for Sports events and Church and Choir events.
If you could jam with anyone, who would it be?
Right now Walk off the Earth because they look really fun and chill and come up with alot of fun jams that would inspire me.
What's the biggest audience you ever performed to? What's the smallest?
The biggest was for over 3,000 for My University's ESPN West Homecoming Basketball game and another was singing the National Anthem for the San Diego Soccers at the SD Sports Arena. The smallest was probably an LMU open mic for about 3 people. One of my most memorable was sophmore year after the word of my performing spread around campus the usual first of the year open mic crowd was usually 50 or less and about 200+ showed up and i got a standing ovation. Way to start off soph year with new fans and friends.
You're stuck on a desert island and only get to bring one album with you. What do you pick?
